A Sheetz customer allegedly caused a disturbance at the East Market Street location in Blairsville Borough, resulting in the arrest of one individual.
Police were called to the store at 4 AM after receiving a report of a theft in progress. Upon arrival, they discovered that Tyler Ballengee, 34 years old, had consumed around $15.63 worth of food and drink without making any payment. It was during this incident that Ballengee provided officers with a false name. Moreover, it was later revealed that he had an arrest warrant for drug possession in Westmoreland County.
Ballengee was arrested for an outstanding warrant and found behind bars at Indiana County Jail. District Judge Robert Bell Sr.’s office filed charges against him for providing false identification to law enforcement and committing retail theft.
