The city of Indianapolis, IN Police officials stated that after breaking a man’s arm and stabbing him multiple times throughout his body, the 25-year-old woman—later identified as BriIey—was taken into custody and charged with several offenses, including attempted murder and aggravated battery. She later claimed that she was acting in self-defense. The victim, who will remain nameless, was taken to the hospital after suffering serious injuries.

Police report that this regrettable act happened over the weekend. When the responding police entered the house, they discovered the victim had been stabbed several times. In addition to having a broken arm, the victim still had a piece of broken knife inside of him. The unidentified male reportedly told police that he was waiting for the 25-year-old lady to start hitting him with a basebaII bat and stabbing him with a kitchen knife before she began doing so.

The bat and knife handle were discovered by the responding officers, both of which had blood on them. According to reports, the 25-year-old was discovered laying on the living room couch. The 25-year-old lady allegedly told investigators during an interview that the unnamed male attempted to put something down her throat and try to hold her down. The woman also told authorities that “she had to defend herself because she didn’t know what he had put in her throat.”

According to the responding officers, the victim had suffered multiple stab wounds and a baseball bat blow, but she had no recent cuts or bruises. The anonymous male also told detectives that he attempted to halt the stabbing incident by grabbing the knife while the woman was stabbing him, but he only managed to slash his hands. Additionally, the unnamed victim said that there was no dispute or justification for the attack. According to court documents, the 25-year-old lady has been involved in multiple narcotics possession instances recently.
