During a long fugitive operation on Tuesday, the extreme heat had a significant impact on K-9 Bosco from the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office.

After Bosco showed signs of heat stroke, his handler, Deputy Jon Samuelson, decided to take him to All Creature Features Animal Hospital for immediate medical attention.

Within an hour, Bosco experienced a significant decrease in body temperature, regained his strength, and his blood work came back with no significant issues.

Deputy Samuelson and the staff at All Creature Features deserve a big round of applause for their outstanding work!
