Crews dedicated an hour and a half to clear a rear-end collision on Saturday near Homer City, causing traffic to come to a halt during the operation.

At the intersection of Routes 119 and 56, a minivan was rear-ended by an SUV around 12:00 PM. The Homer City and Coral-Graceton fire crews, along with state police, immediately responded to the scene at 12:15 PM. They were present for about an hour and a half to investigate and clean up the area. The southbound traffic was redirected through Homer City at Mistretta Distributing Company. Additionally, Coral-Graceton fire crews were dispatched to establish a landing zone for a LifeFlight helicopter.
At least two individuals were taken to the hospital as confirmed by the troopers present on the scene. However, their identities have yet to be confirmed.
