Selling a substantial quantity of methamphetamine from a Michigan City apartment complex could lead to a considerable prison sentence.
On Wednesday, La Porte Superior Court 1 charged Brandy Newman with Level 2 felony for dealing in methamphetamine.
As per the court records, the accusations are related to the vending of over 31 grams of methamphetamine at Tall Timbers apartment complex situated on Springland Ave. on the east side of the city.
On Wednesday, Judge Jamie Oss issued an arrest warrant based on the ruling that the allegations against Newman had enough evidence for him to be held accountable.
The sentence she could receive ranges from 10 to 30 years.
