The woman has been sentenced to state prison for her involvement in her husband’s overdose death.
37-year-old Lauren Bingaman, previously from Colver and Clymer, has been sentenced to serve 2-5 years in prison for the crime of possession with intent to deliver. Additionally, she has received one to five years for each of the four counts of child endangerment. Bingaman pleaded guilty to these charges on July 1st. It is important to note that charges of drug delivery resulting in death and four counts of reckless endangerment were not pursued as part of the plea agreement.
In July of 2023, police charged her for the death of 34-year-old Daniel Bingaman. He tragically passed away from an overdose of a combination of xylazine and fentanyl. It was discovered that the drug paraphernalia found in her house was easily accessible to the four children residing there.
