A lottery player from Michigan was left stunned when she discovered an email in her spam folder revealing that she had won a massive $207,199 prize. Despite being initially disregarded, the email turned out to be the surprise of a lifetime for the lucky woman.
On July 9, a lucky winner from Macomb County, who prefers to keep her identity private, won the prize through a random drawing. The 54-year-old is now the proud owner of the coveted reward.
By playing the eligible BIG CA$H Second Chance Jackpot games online, she was able to earn entries into the giveaway.
In a statement, she mentioned that she was unaware of the fact that playing certain games online would earn her entries into a second chance drawing. She was left perplexed when she stumbled upon an email from the Michigan Lottery in her spam folder, claiming that she had won.
“I investigated and discovered how I had earned the entries. I triple-checked to verify the authenticity of the email. The thrill of winning is indescribable, and it couldn’t have happened at a more perfect moment!”
She intends to pay bills and invest the money she won.
