A triple shooting on Indianapolis’ west side Monday afternoon resulted in two fatalities and one person in critical condition.
IMPD received a call regarding a person who had been shot in the 3600 block of W. Michigan Street. Upon arrival, the officers discovered one individual who had succumbed to their injuries from the gunshot, and another person who had also been shot.
The second person was reported to be conscious and breathing, but unfortunately, they were later declared dead.
During the incident, another individual who was in critical condition was eventually found at the scene. The emergency services swiftly transported this person to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office has identified the two men who tragically lost their lives as 40-year-old Brandon Groves and 21-year-old Nathaniel Thomas.
