Police officials in Indianapolis, IN have reported that Jessy, a 25-year-old man, has been arrested and charged with murder, aggravated battery, and other offenses in connection with the death of his girlfriend’s 1-year-old baby.
The investigation revealed that the boyfriend had violently shaken the child, resulting in the tragedy. Court records indicate that Jessy is being held without bond at this time.
A local hospital informed the authorities last month about a baby with suspicious injuries, and an investigation process started.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers spoke with the child’s mother and her 25-year-old boyfriend who was taking care of the child while she was at work. Initially, the man claimed that their dog knocked the child to the ground.
